Terms of Service
Effective September 26, 2026. By creating or using a ClaritySnaps account, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
The service
ClaritySnaps provides personal organization, record storage, reminders, private Vault features, file storage, exports, and optional AI-assisted data extraction. Features may change as the service develops.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the security of your login credentials, and using the service lawfully. You must notify ClaritySnaps if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give ClaritySnaps the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content solely to provide, secure, and operate the service and to comply with applicable law.
AI features
AI-generated fields and suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing information before saving or relying on it. ClaritySnaps should not be used as a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, tax, or safety advice.
Prohibited use
You may not use ClaritySnaps for illegal, abusive, exploitative, harmful, or security-compromising activity. The Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
Plans, limits, and billing
Accounts may be subject to monthly save limits, monthly AI Quick Add limits, storage limits, file-size limits, and other resources. Paid subscriptions, when available to your account, renew automatically until canceled. Applicable taxes may be added by the payment provider. You can manage or cancel an active subscription from Billing settings. If you cancel or downgrade, ClaritySnaps does not immediately delete your existing records solely because the plan changed; lower plan limits may restrict new saves, AI usage, or uploads after the paid period ends. ClaritySnaps may adjust limits or features with reasonable notice when practical.
Suspension and termination
ClaritySnaps may restrict or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, nonpayment, or material violations of these Terms. You may delete your account from Settings.
Availability and backups
The service is provided on an as-available basis. ClaritySnaps works to protect and preserve data but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service should be your only copy of critical records. Keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose.
Limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClaritySnaps is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
These Terms may be updated as ClaritySnaps evolves. Material changes should be communicated through the service or another reasonable method. Continued use after an applicable update may be treated as acceptance where permitted by law.
